The Uprise Books Project

GalleyCat posted this article to Twitter today. It’s a Kickstarter project that will encourage teens to read by giving them access to banned and challenged books. Teens between the ages of 13-18 in the U.S within a certain income bracket will be able to browse the list of books and add books they want to read to their wish lists and if they are able to, Uprise Books will make it happen.

The minimum pledge is only $1 and there are a variety of rewards for backers who pledge $5 or more. Plus it get more teens reading. Win-Win.
